Pilates perfectly supports and compliments the tough expectations on a dancer’s body with Joseph Pilates originally working with professional ballet dancers of the New York City Ballet at his Manhattan studio since the 1920’s. With a mindful focus on conditioning, key exercises target core strengthening, postural alignment, coordination and tracking of limbs offering dancers a way to improve technique as well as rehabilitate from injury safely and effectively.
With the Pilates practice, students can expect a full body workout whilst learning a valuable tool kit of helpful exercises to support ongoing training.

I have attended Adult Pilates and Adult Ballet classes with Vanessa since January 2015.
